Mike Myslinski - Director/Pastor
Mike, also known as "Myz," has been a Chi Alpha Missionary since 2015. He found Christ his freshman year of college and was involved in Chi Alpha all of his college career. Mike received his Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Science from The University of North Dakota and then served there as a Chi Alpha Missionary for seven years. He married his wife Annica in October of 2015. Mike was pursuing music until 2021 as a CHH artist; you can find his music on any major music platform under "Mike Myz.' Outside of Jesus, Mike is passionate about his newborn son: Maverick, coffee, his dog, and soccer while enjoying all sports and the outdoors.
Annica Myslinski - Part-Time Staff
Annica gave her life to Jesus in her senior year of high school. She became very involved with her church's youth group and was a leader for 5 years. She graduated from beauty school and has been a hair stylist since 2011. In 2020, she went independent and now owns her own business and works out of her home salon. When she married Mike and moved to Grand Forks, ND, Annica became very involved with Chi Alpha as volunteer staff. She is now part-time staff with Black Hills State Chi Alpha while running her hair studio. Outside of Jesus, Annica is passionate about her newborn son: Maverick, cooking, being outside in the sun and enjoys spending time with people, her family and dog.
Jim Roberts - Faculty Advisor
Pastor Jim Roberts and his wife Cindy have been happily married since 1974. They have raised three beautiful daughters who all have families and are blessed with eleven grandchildren. They helped plant Solid Rock Church in Spearfish South Dakota in 1992 and have been senior pastors there since 1995. They both came to know Jesus as their Savior in high school and have served him as a couple for over 50 years. They are excited that God is moving powerfully at Black Hills State University, and are honored to be a part of the amazing things God is doing in Chi Alpha.
Jag - Chi Alpha Pup
Jag, also known as 'Jaggo, Jaggo Bear and Mr. Bear,' became a part of the Myslinski family at nine months old. He is a very loving, loyal and obedient four and a half year old German Shepherd. He enjoys his daily walks on campus, hiking, laying in the grass, playing with his ball and smoked trout. Jag loves being with people and enjoys a full house. He may bark at you when you come over to the house, as he's a protector by nature, but once he sniffs you, he will love you!
